"I don't like to be entertaining. I don't like the feeling of being entertaining. If there was a musical or a comedy that was not just for entertainment but was rooted in something I could relate to on a real level, then I think I would do it."

Amazing Gosling
Ryan Gosling! Man or machine? Myth or miracle? Is there anything he
can't do? He's George Clooney's heir apparent! He breaks up street
fights on his way home from the gym! He has Photoshopped abs! He's the
subject of the best Tumblr ever! He's the guy from The Notebook! But
there's more and yet more; he contains multitudes. There is romantic
Gosling (Crazy Stupid Love) and edgy Method Gosling (The Believer) and
quirky indie Gosling (Lars and the Real Girl) and lumpen burnout Gosling
(Blue Valentine) and psycho killer Gosling (Murder by Numbers).

Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes spend date at Paris cemetery
They don't call it the city of romance for nothing.
Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes
were spotted packing on the PDA in Paris on Saturday, linking arms and
sneaking kisses as they strolled through the legendary Pere-Lachaise
Cemetery, People reports.
"They were holding hands and there was a lot of tenderness between them," one observer told the magazine.
Mendes, 37, who is currently in the City of Lights wrapping up filming
for "Holly Motors," was joined by her younger beau for a tres romantique
weekend that also included a tour of the historic Catacombs in Paris.
The "Beyond the Pines" costars began dating in September after Mendes
reportedly ended her long-term relationship with producer George Gargurevich over the summer.
Another gossip insider said Mendes "was totally shocked" to see Gosling, 31, who surprised her with the romantic visit.
"They were talking all the time so she had no hints that he was
coming," a source told Us Weekly. "She was really homesick and missed
him, even though she practically just left to shoot."
