Oscar Hopefuls Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling & More Get ‘Villainy’ for New York Times Performances

 
From Ryan Gosling to Rooney Mara, there’s a select few actors and actresses that are in line to receive an Oscar nomination this year, and they’re exemplifying to the New York Times that they have a lot of range. 
The renowned publication came out with some peculiar videos titled “A Touch of Evil” that have the Oscar hopefuls in a state of “cinematic villainy, inspired by nefarious icons.” Among the decided best 13 actors of 2011, Brad Pitt, RyGos and George Clooney all participated in the project as well as Rooney, Kirsten Dunst and Glenn Close.

Ryan Gosling as The Invisible Man, Brad Pitt as Henry Spencer from Eraserhead, Rooney Mara as Alex from A Clockwork Orange, Michael Shannon as Gordon Gekko from Wall Street, as well as Viola Davis, George Clooney, Jessica Chastain, Kirsten Dunst, Mia Wasikowska, Adepero Oduye, Gary Oldman, Jean Dujardinas and Glenn Close.
